Extranet Connectivity : Data Line SNA

For environments requiring native SNA leased line connections, CareBridge provides two data line options - SNI Host and non-SNI. Where the Extranet Data Line can handle multiple protocols, including IP and SNA, the Extranet Data Line - SNA is specifically designed for the SNA protocols.

A CareBridge non-SNI workstation or midrange connection provides access to the CareBridge network from a single site with a modem or DSU and data terminal controllers, personal computers, LAN servers, or processors that use SNA subarea and SNA APPN protocols.

The CareBridge SNI Host connection provides access to the CareBridge network from a single site with a modem or DSU and an IBM System/370, System/390 or compatible processor using SNA Network Interconnection (SNI).

The Extranet Data Line - SNA is fully turn-key. We provide the components necessary to connect your host or controller to the CareBridge network. We perform the installation of these components, circuit testing and end-to-send service testing. Once the data line is fully installed and tested, we provide 24x7 support and maintenance of the data line
